This Privacy Policy explains how Ek Machina Pty Ltd ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the day36 mobile application (the "App").

Information we collect

1. Account information (only if you create an account)

day36 can be used without an account. If you choose to sign up, we collect and store:

• Email address — used to create and secure your account and to send account-related emails (for example, password resets).
• Password — handled by our authentication provider (Supabase). It is stored in a securely hashed form; we never store or see your plain-text password.
• Account identifier and profile fields — a unique user ID, and optional display name, associated with your account.

2. Albums and photos you back up

If you save ("back up") an album to your account, we store the album and photo information associated with it on our backend, linked to your account. This may include:
